Literature Text
Smoke chokes out the sky
like someone in a sleeper.
The more the light is choked out,
the darkness only gets deeper.
The white fluffy clouds
are dyed an inky black.
Because of all the saturation,
it will never go back.
Great towers pierce the sky above,
digging in with black fangs.
Their venom spreads continuously
and life is consumed by hunger pangs.
Coughing gases and choking sulphur
mix with the darkness created.
Acid comes down in a fury,
with its intensity unabated.
The green land below turns yellow,
like the sulphur in the sky.
All creatures who drink the rain
are destined to slowly die.
The unnatural heat billowing
and roaring within the walls
enslave all resources around it
and forces all to devolve.
It is as if the earth itself
was reversing its transformation.
All who prepare are still swept away
by this inevitable deformation.
like someone in a sleeper.
The more the light is choked out,
the darkness only gets deeper.

Fallen
When I was little, I held my hands up
and there was always a bigger pair
there to pick me up, raise me up
Dark and cold both accumulate near the ground
but I had found
a path to heaven, now forgotten
as the earth turns 'round;
So overcome by confusion, how...?
I can't cast my demons out
one devil still pulls me down
off the earth and off my gentle cloud
I lay upon the ground,
bloodied, broken, beaten down
and lament my fate, silenced now
He recalls his immoralities as if
they were someone else's little slips
and though his words have scarred me
much deeper than any knife or whip
he parades through town, a man, a god
going on about life as

Metus
One flat night, the wind stilled itself like a breath held in the worst kind of anticipation; the moment when you realize, too late, that everything has gone wrong with every carefully laid plan. Every alibi come to naught in the face of something far too dark to even be given shape: gloried in the feverish tongues of those men who spread their crazed scripture to those who pass beneath their perches just out of reach.
Fear.
The word dances across the lips of the multitudes, washing away serenity and sense, slathering a coat of ashen sludge across our hearts and burrowing into the mind like some virulent maggot, squirming for that last litt

Memory Locked
To be lulled into slumber by the silent screams of past loved ones,
Listening to the agonizing whales of my sorrowful son.
They yank me down to drown in the black sea of misery.
Laughing like children mid-play, they taunt my being with the infectious giggles of ignorance.
With a light creak and the click of the lock, for eternity a seal is placed over my innocence.
Sorry my child but the dark awaits, beckoning me to its sweet embrace.
The angered smoke attacks my lungs, swiping away the life of any who dare cross its path,
leaving little to none.
It’s partner in crime makes a home from my skin,
as it embeds its long blood red s
